Stephen E. Speiser

Stephen E. Speiser obtained his law degree with honors from Brooklyn Law School in 1981 and has been a practicing lawyer for over forty years.  Beginning his career in the metropolitan New York/New Jersey region, Mr. Speiser concentrated on construction and real estate development law. Stephen served as General Counsel to a regional development company, where his practice focused on real estate syndications and commercial finance, as well as a construction firm.

In 1985, Stephen established his own private practice, representing builders during an explosive period of growth in Hoboken, New Jersey. He then became a founder of The Half Moon Development Company, which conducted multi-family condominium conversions as well as new construction. In 2005, Stephen co-founded a private equity fund focused on distressed real estate assets.

Mr. Speiser expanded his practice to the State of Florida, representing business owners and high net worth clients in estate planning and asset protection.  Prior to establishing his own practice in Palm Beach, Stephen worked for a boutique law firm representing asset protection planning clients nationwide.

Stephen is a lecturer on the topic of asset protection and has been a featured speaker at the International Builders Show, the Southeast Builders Conference, and at medical training conferences.  The Speiser Law Firm also provides webinars, continuing legal education courses, consulting services, and legal support to other lawyers, accountants, and their clients in the field of asset protection.  Mr. Speiser is currently writing a treatise on asset protection to be published later this year.

Stephen Speiser grew up in New York City and now resides in Palm Beach County, Florida.
